In addition to the cost reduction due to the introduction of high percentages of calcium carbonate in flexible PVC’s. Depending on the applications and choices of the type of calcium carbonate, several benefits can be identified in the process and in the final product, among the advantages we highlight:
- Controlled rheology (sealing of the lower part of the automotive body);
- Higher brightness;
- Low absorption of plasticizers and stabilizers;
- Better part printing capability;
- Better electrical properties in cables;
- Increased heat-distorting temperature (HDT).
